Naini Lake is located in
the district of Nainital . Roopkund
is another lake, which lies in the lap of Mount Trishul. Situated at a
height of 5,029 m, the lake is the destination of the Raj Jat Yatra, a
pilgrimage from the village of Nauti, led by a ram. Roop Kund is also
makes a very good trekking destination. Move towards
Bhim Taal , 22-kms from
Nainital the lake has an island 91.4 meters away from the shore. Other
spectacular lakes of Uttaranchal include Kedar Taal, Nachiketa Taal and
Dodi Taal . All these
