Udhagamandalam
(Ooty): The nearest airport is at Coimbatore
(100-km). Udhagamandalam
on the narrow gauge railway is connected to Mettupalayam, which is
directly connected to Coimbatore and Chennai
on the broad gauge. There are regular bus services connecting
Udhagamandalam to Coimbatore,
Trichy,
Bangalore,
Madurai,
Kanyakumari,
Mysore, Calicut,
Tirupati, etc.
Kodaikanal: Madurai is
the closest airport and a 3-hour bus journey away from
Kodaikanal.
Yercaud: The nearest airport is at
Trichy. The nearest railway
stations are Salem Junction (36-km) and Salem
Town (33-km). Bus services operate from Salem
Junction and Salem bus stands to Yercaud frequently.
