Bharatpur, a bird kingdom comprising of rare
Siberian Cranes and 2,000 painted storks. Do not miss the natural habitat
of tigers in the state, the Ranthambore National Park at
Ranthambore, which was previously known as
the hunting ground for the Maharaja of Jaipur.
The famous counterpart of Ranthambore and worth a visit is the Sariska
Tiger Reserve & National Park, situated just 40-kms from
Alwar. The wildlife one witnesses over here
include Sambhar, Chital, Nilgai, Four-Horned Antelope, Wild Boar and
Langur. Van Vihar Ramsagar Wildlife Sanctuary is the oldest wildlife
reserves of the state made by the rulers of Dholpur
and has a wonderful collection flora and fauna.
