Shriwardhan Bay located in Raigad district is
irresistible with gentle winds, soft sands and inviting waters, which
attracts beach lovers in large numbers. And it's a splendid place for
seafood lovers where one can relish seafood of different variety. Adventure
lovers can take a small boat to the north side of the bay and explore a land
where the Peshwas or Prime ministers of the Maratha kingdom, originally
resided.
Harihareshwar is another town known for its tranquil and picturesque beach.
It also houses a famous temple of "Kalbhairav" - the Shiva Temple.
About 4-kms away there is a 'Peshwa' Smarak and Bankot Fort at Bagmandala,
which is also worth visiting.

buses regularly to this place.
