forts of Delhi, the Red Fort (Lal Qila) and the Old Fort (Purana Qila).
From the Mughal period the Red Fort is alluring its visitors with the
palaces and impressive public buildings that it contains within its
premises, such as Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas, Rang Mahal and the Pearl
Mosque. Earlier known as the seat of Mughals, Purana Qila, believed to be
the site of Indraprastha of the Mahabharata period, is a fort build by
emperor Humayun. The Fort also faces a zoo and

exhibition grounds. Not to be missed is the sound and light show held
every evening at the Old Fort, capturing some highlights of the legendary
